Used Vintage 1990's Road Legends Howard Johnson's 1948 Ford F-1 Ice Cream Truck Die Cast Metal on Plastic Display Stand in Original Box Scale 1:18 Also includes a small brochure of the Road Legends 1999 Collection Die Cast Metal READ FULL CONDITION DETAILS FOR ISSUES: Truck was never removed off the stand, but was displayed out of the box on a shelf for approximately 10 years, then stored back in the box for past 15 years in a cabinet The manufacturer's plastic protective strap which is over the front hood was also never removed. PLEASE NOTE: While wiping the truck down for this listing, I noticed that under this plastic strap the paint has stayed cleaner, whiter, brighter than the rest of the hood that wasn't protected under the plastic strap. SEE PHOTOS # 9, 10 and 11 which show brighter white line under the plastic portion. I don't know if this is because this area didn't fade or discolor and the rest of the hood did from age and exposure or because the rest of the hood needs to be cleaned with something special. Photo #9 shows the plastic strap in the original position it was in for 25 years and Photos #10 and 11 show it moved down and up to show the difference in white colors. Other than this white strip line issue and additional cleaning probably needed in the nooks and crannies that I couldn't get to, the Ice Cream Truck is in good used/displayed condition with minor wear/aging from being displayed. The Original Box has wear and tear, creases scuffs/blemishes, aging, Imperfections. Please see photos and ZOOM in for the most accurate description of condition and make your own judgement.
