Offered here is the Ferrari 126C2 driven by Didier Pironi during that tragic year of 1982 which saw the rift with his team mate Gilles Villeneuve who would loose his life at the Belgian GP and then the career ending accident to Pironi himself at the German GP. The model is by Minichamps and was at the beginning of their dominance of the high quality 1/43rd scale die cast race car model market. Their version of the Ferrari 126C2 is still one of the best even compared with current offerings from Spark, GP Replicas or Tecnomodels.
